# Privacy

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no tracking or advertising scripts. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may set a cookie it needs for security.

## If you sign up for email

We keep your email address, the date you signed up, the page you signed up on and the version of the sign-up wording you saw. We use your address only to tell you when Adrian Toren’s books come out. The rest is our record of your sign-up.

We don’t sell any of it. The only outside companies that handle it are the ones that deliver this site and its email.

To leave the list, use the [unsubscribe page](https://adriantoren.com/unsubscribe/) or the link in any email we send. Your address is deleted, not just marked as unsubscribed.

## Server logs

Like most websites, this one keeps a log of each page and file it serves. Each entry holds your IP address, the page, the page you came from, the time and your browser’s name. The logs help keep the site secure and running, and they show which pages get read. They’re deleted within 90 days.

## Where the list and logs are kept

The email list is kept on our server in Germany. The logs are kept there too, and copied to our monitoring server in the United States.
