For fourteen years a man has been killing young women across New York and New Jersey. Each time, the police suspected the victim’s ex, a man she had left and taken to court. That instinct is usually right. It is also why no one has seen the pattern. NYPD detective Danny Corrado has trusted that instinct his whole life. It has hidden the killer from him, too.
